Farm Market Guide

The Farm Market Guide to North Central Florida is a directory of farms in the area that sell locally produced agricultural products directly to consumers and published by the University of Florida Extension..  Products available in the guide include honey, eggs, meat, nursery plants and hay as well as fruits and vegetables.  The guide is published in two versions (Eastern and Western) to accommodate the nearly 100 farms listed.  In the guide you will find U-Pick opportunities, farmstands, as well as farmers who will deliver to your door!

Publication of this guide is part of an effort to expand marketing opportunities for area farmers and offer the public convenient access to farm fresh products.  Co-sponsors of the directory are the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Florida Farm Bureau, Council of Progress of Suwannee County, Columbia County Chamber of Commerce and Madison County Chamber of Commerce.

The following are PDF files of the text portion of the guides. You will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader (4.0 or higher) to view these pdf files. You can download the latest version from www.adobe.comAdobe Acrobat Reader takes approximately 30 minutes to download over a 56k modem.  The pdf files take approximately 5 minutes to load before you can view them.  These files do not print in large text and are better viewed on screen. Maps and harvest information are available in the printed brochures.  Pick up your free copy of the Farm Market Guide to North Central Florida at your county extension office and explore the benefits of local agriculture.
